SHARE YOUR GOOD FORTUNE: ESTABLISH YOUR OWN CHARITY AND LEAVE A WORTHY HERITAGE.
A number of well-known English charities still carry their founders’ names and are making a valuable contribution to their charitable purposes long after their passing.
You don’t not need to be a Carnegie or a Gates to make a difference. Creating your own charitable foundation is deeply satisfying.
You can choose which cause should benefit, providing real value to others who are less fortunate and requiring support.

Keith provides a full service for philanthropic trusts, either ad hoc or on a retainer.
I handle the bureaucratic and time-consuming formation paperwork for you. I can even help to recruit appropriate Trustees and professional advisers to run it for you.
It can be set up and enriched during your lifetime or you can leave your estate to it. It can also reduce the size of your personal estate and reduce the inheritance tax that may otherwise be payable.

WHAT CLIENTS SAY

ROBERT FULTON
Since 2006, Keith Hatchick has worked with our UK Charity to register, establish and develop it from a simple idea into a robust and resilient organisation.
Throughout that time, he has been an invaluable source of professional advice, wholehearted enthusiasm and imaginative ideas, guiding us through the detail of the start-up process, onwards through the build-up of a sound ‘going concern’ and then on to the generation and exploration of wider opportunities.
His knowledge and experience of the charitable sector is second to none and he combines this with an engaging style that inspires all those around him.
DAME FIONA WOOLF
DBE DL
We all know from experience that there is quite enough to do as a charity Trustee, and particularly if you are in the chair, without worrying about the regulatory or governance regimes with which you have to comply. Even if you are a lawyer yourself, you find that the devil always lies in the detail!
Keith Hatchick has taken good care of one of the charities that I chair with much infectious enthusiasm for its objects. Advising the board of
Trustees (directors). he has become an important part of the team on whom we have been able to rely for many years. Thank you, Keith!
ABOUT KEITH
Keith is a qualified solicitor who has practiced company and commercial law for 30 years.
Thanks to the success of his clients, his practice evolved into creating and running charities.
Many found that they had taken care of their families, their employees, and had more than sufficient funds remaining. Instead of investing in assets, they wanted to invest in their fellow man or in areas of particular personal causes.
Here are some short videos to explain his work.
